Your First Treatment
Come Early
Please arrive 15 minutes early for your first treatment to fill out a case history form.
Your Assessment
We will review your health history and I will perform an assessment to form a clinical impression. I will describe the proposed treatment and get your written consent. You will then be ready for your massage therapy treatment.
If I am unsure about a condition or its potential reaction to massage, I will either refer you to your doctor or ask for your written permission to consult your doctor.
Do You Need a Referral?
If you plan to claim the cost of the massage with your insurance company, find out if you will need a written referral from your doctor. (Read "How to Make a Claim" in the Hours & Rates section)
